Ghent teacher keeps students busy with video games: “It increases their motivation”.

Solving a mathematical problem or bridging the language gap with non-Dutch-speaking students through a Nintendo game? Teacher Lander Van der Biest (29) of the Sint-Salvatorschool in Ghent experiments with video games in the classroom.

“Because games fit in with their environment, the motivation of the pupils is often higher than in an ordinary lesson.
